Goetz H. Kloecker, MD, MBA, MSPH, FACP, is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology/Hematology and Director of the Thoracic Oncology Clinic at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Kloecker received his medical degree from Technical University of Munich in Germany. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany; the Free University of Berlin in Germany; and the University of Louisville, where he was Chief Medical Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Kloecker is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the European Society for Medical Oncology. He has given CME presentations on antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, bladder carcinoma, head and neck cancer, and pain management, among other topics. His publications have appeared in such journals as the Annals of Internal Medicine, The American Journal of Medicine, Clinical Lung Cancer, and the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.
